I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which will help you identify and modify unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior so that you can achieve your desired goals. Mindfulness techniques can also be used to help you live in the present, instead of reliving the past or worrying about the future. Through a combination of learning, practicing new skills, and caring support, you will gain the necessary tools and resources to lead a satisfying and meaningful life. Treatment will be tailored to your individual needs and abilities, and we can work as ‘co-investigators’ to examine your life difficulties and find attainable goals and solutions. You will only be given effective treatments that are supported by scientific research evidence. I provide individual therapy for adults (ages 18 to 70). You will benefit from my training and experience with Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy (Rogerian Therapy), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Therapy. (Learn about the therapies I use and symptoms/conditions I treat) I can help if you are experiencing depression, generalized anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, phobias, panic attacks and panic disorder, low self-esteem, and adjustment difficulties. Over the years, I have worked with adult clients in private practice, mental health clinics, and hospitals. I incorporate cultural sensitivity into my practice and aim to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for you.
