Each session will cater to your individual needs, and I will respect your cultural preferences.  During the initial appointment, I will ask you about your life and how you have been feeling. After that, you can choose some treatment goals, and we can discuss clinically supported treatment options that will be helpful for you. The goals, treatment plan, and session structure are flexible and are likely to change throughout our relationship, depending on your needs.

My therapy approaches include Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy (Rogerian Therapy), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness training. I tailor treatment to the individual needs and abilities of clients, and work with clients as a ‘co-investigator’ to examine life problems and find attainable goals and solutions. I use effective treatments that are supported by scientific research evidence.
