Session Fee: $215.00 per 55-minute video or phone session. Sliding scale is not available.
No Show and Late Cancellation Fees: If you do not provide 48-hour notice for their absence, this is considered a no show or late cancellation. Your appointment is reserved specifically for you, and no shows/late cancellations lead to empty schedule spots that another client could have used.
Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, or Mastercard Debit payments are accepted. New clients must register a payment card prior to their first session (you will receive a registration request). Jane App uses Stripe to store the card as a token and full credit card information is not accessible to Dr. Bovell or her administration staff (learn more on the Commonly Asked Questions page). American Express, cash, check, or e-transfer will not be accepted. Payment is only accepted/charged at the end of a session or psychological service (e.g., completing a report or note). After the session/psychological service, registered cards will be charged, and clients will be emailed a receipt (this is the fastest and preferred method). After sessions, if clients have removed their stored cards, they will be emailed an invoice that must be paid within 24 hours, and once payment is received, they will be emailed a receipt (this may take up to 3 business days). Clients must re-register their payment card if payments are frequently late. Insurance Coverage and Reimbursement: Coverage varies, but Dr. Bovell's services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance provider. Clients with extended healthcare coverage (that cannot be billed directly by Dr. Bovell) can submit receipts to their insurance company for reimbursement. Clients without extended healthcare coverage can claim therapy expenses as medical expenses on their income taxes (depending on their income). Direct Billing Insurance Providers: Starting in September 2023, Dr. Bovell can directly bill the insurance providers listed below (after collecting registration information from your consent form). Report fees: Sometimes clients require letters, notes, forms, or detailed reports. The fee for this service depends on the level of detail in the letter or report and the time it takes to complete. These examples are approximated, and fees may vary:
External Meetings: $100.00 per hour (including travel time). This fee is billed if Dr. Bovell is required to attend meetings for clients outside of the therapy hour (e.g., attending court, meetings in the community, or insurance phone calls). Partial payment will be required in advance.
Requesting Your Clinical File/Records: Please email Dr. Bovell if you would like a copy of your file. Although you have a right to your file, there is a $30 fee to access it because of the time needed to assemble your file (e.g., downloading or typing your appointment history, converting files to PDFs, uploading, or attaching the files, etc.). There is no fee for requesting your billing record, receipts, or appointment record. It may take 2-3 weeks to complete your request.
You can use MedChart to make your file request, and you must use Medchart if you are no longer a registered client with a payment card stored on Jane App. If you would like the information sent to a third party (e.g., a lawyer, health care practitioner, or insurance company) they may use the link posted below or search for Wellness View Psychological Services Ontario on Medchart.

- $50.00: A brief letter stating that clients are attending sessions and actively participating in therapy.
- $215.00: A detailed letter that also summarizes the goals of therapy, treatment approach, progress towards goals and treatment recommendations.
- $1800.00: A detailed report that summarizes the goals of therapy, treatment approach, progress towards goals and treatment recommendations that includes personality features and diagnosis (if relevant) accompanied by psychological testing. Clients must attend at least two sessions and complete the relevant inventories. The completed inventories will be scored, interpreted, and the results summarized in a report.
